IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ Applicants who come from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) must hold a current Stamp 4 or a Labour Market Permissions Letter to undertake a Training Course with Cork College of FET - Bishopstown Campus. A good standard of both written and spoken English is essential in order to successfully complete this Course and the associated assessments. This course has been designed in order to provide business with personnel who are skilled in welding and fabrication. The aim of the course is to provide the trainees with the skills and related knowledge in fabrication - basic skills, manual metal arc welding, oxy-acetylene welding, MIG welding and to develop their attitudes, personal effectiveness and job seeking skills which will enable them to obtain employment as welders/fabricators.
