
Description
Candidates must be over 18 years old. This free course is open and suitable to new entrants to the hospitality sector. This course is full-time and will be conducted from Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 3.45pm and Friday 8.30am to 12.45pm, for 3 weeks. A good standard of both written and spoken English is essential to attend this course as Learners must complete both a written and practical assessment as part of the course. Applicants who come from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) must have a Stamp 4 or a Labour Market Permissions Letter to undertake a Training Course with Cork College of FET - Bishopstown Campus. The aim of the course is to provide learners with basic skills, related knowledge and aptitude to motivate them into becoming a more competent bartender including developing the skills for making cocktails and food service.
